Getting Started
Quick Start Guide: Launch Your First GRUP Agent in 4 Steps
This guide will walk you through creating and deploying your first AI agent on GRUP. The process is fully no-code and designed to get your Telegram community powered by intelligent automation in just a few minutes.
Step 1: Name Your Agent & Link a Project
Begin by giving your agent an Admin Name — this is how your agent will appear within the GRUP platform (not in Telegram).
Then, either:
Select an existing Project Knowledge you've already created, or
Create a new Project to link with this agent
Projects serve as the knowledge base your agent uses to understand your community, token, or app.
Step 2: Choose a Template or Start from Scratch
To speed up the setup, GRUP lets you choose from curated Agent Templates for specific use cases like:
Memecoin Engagement
Telegram Mini App Activation
Utility Token Support
Alternatively, you can choose Blank Setup to start building from scratch.
Note: Template choice is a one-time selection per agent.
Step 3: Define Your Agent
Now you’ll configure your agent’s behavior in a guided, step-by-step flow:
1. Set the Objective (Natural Language)
Define what your agent is here to do. For example:
"Increase engagement in my Telegram mini app community"
"Answer support questions about my DeFi protocol"
2. Add Agent Tasks
Tasks determine what your agent does and when.
Each task can be triggered by one of 4 types:
Group: Events in the group chat (e.g., a keyword is used, a message is pinned)
DeFi: Wallet or token-related activity (e.g., user received a transaction, token dropped)
Time: Scheduled actions (e.g., send GM message every day at 9AM)
Twitter: Activity related to a Twitter account (e.g., a tweet goes live)
You can add multiple tasks and stack different trigger types.
3. Set Personality
Choose how your agent "acts" in the group. Select from predefined examples (e.g., Helpful, Meme Lord, Professional), and optionally refine the personality with natural language (e.g., "Add a bit of sarcasm and crypto-native slang").
4. Set Tone
Choose the writing and communication style of your agent. Options include: Casual, Serious, Bold, Funny, etc. You can also describe the tone more precisely in your own words.
Step 4: Review & Deploy
Agent Summary
You’ll see a complete summary of your agent setup:

Double-check everything looks right. You can edit anything before final deployment.
Deploy Your Agent to Telegram
