Troubleshooting
Agent Doesn’t Feel On-Brand?
If your GRUP agent feels off—too generic, too robotic, or not aligned with your community’s tone—this guide will help you bring it back in line with your brand voice. This isn’t a technical issue. It’s about tone, personality, and how your content is framed.
1. Review Personality Settings
Go to your agent settings and revisit the Personality configuration.
Did you choose the personality preset that fits your project? (e.g. Friendly, Funny, Professional)
Did you add a natural language description to refine it?
Example improvements:
Add: “Speaks like a Gen-Z crypto degen with sharp wit”
Add: “Sounds like a calm, experienced Web3 product manager”
2. Adjust the Tone
Tone affects how your agent delivers its messages.
Check if your selected tone:
Matches your brand voice
Supports your personality setting
Examples:
If your group is hype-driven: use Bold or Playful
If your group is utility/product-focused: use Informative or Calm
3. Reword Tasks for Brand Consistency
Go to the Tasks section:
Review the language in each task output
Adjust the copy to better match your project’s voice
For example:
Change “Let’s goooo!” to “We’ve just unlocked a new milestone—check it out.”
Replace emojis, slang, or formal tone depending on your audience
4. Revisit Project Knowledge Tone
Your agent also inherits tone from the way your knowledge is written.
Use the same language your team would use in announcements or product docs
Avoid switching between playful and formal styles in the same knowledge block
Read your content out loud—does it sound like you?
5. Test and Iterate
Use the Live Chat to test different kinds of prompts
Evaluate whether replies match your expectations
Make small tweaks to personality, tone, or response copy
6. Use Copilot for Help
Ask Grup Copilot:
“How do I make my agent sound more like my brand?”
“Help me rewrite this task to sound cooler/more serious/etc.”
